Angry Have Anet Nerfed me ?

Recently, i have become a popualar Green Farmer, i farm alot of bosses most of the day, but, about 3 weeks ago, my loot went down, i wasnt getting hardly any greens, i would ussualy get a scroll or something, so i thought i over farmed.
so i started 2 55 again at droks, i was getting alot of golds, so i farmed that 4 a few days, but after a while, i was getting no golds, so i thought no greens, no golds, whats going on.
so i made a new char, completed the game, hoping for my loot to reset.
but did anything change, NO.
so i carried on farming greens, getting 1-2 drops aday, trying new bosses here and there. but no change
so today i thought i go chest running, i bought 33 keys and set off around the luxon area(17keys) and riasu palace(16 keys), guess what i got 5 golds outta 33 , i wanst happy! all the golds were merched, and i thought gw is going in the bin!. any1 else having any kind of trouble like this?

ya i do, i used to farm griffons, UW, and mountain trolls but now its just dry and the rarest thing i get is a purple in a run, and an occasional rare every 5-6 runs...Anet must not want people making money from farming...

More like people are farming these areas more than they used to.

That's it, A.net isn't changing the drops, more people are farming for them.

You will stop playing, just because you can't farm? You are pathetic.

Really funny. I feel the same way. Of course I was one of those people who had their account mistakenly banned a while ago. I suspect that based on some of those that I know who were banned and their like minded avid farming abilities, the banning had something to do with Anet working through their anti-farming code. I can tell you that after my "mistaken banning" my green drops came to a screeching halt.(Never was much of a chest runner) I went from 3-5+/- a day, depending on how much farming I was actually doing, to less than one a week. It really sucked being an early one to figure the Koosun pattern and not getting a single staff (to this day actually) while I watched guildies getting 90K a pop for them and pulling 3 a day. Truthfully, half of the fun was figuring out the solo patterns to get the damn things anyway.

I just stopped worrying about it. The loss in income kinda sucked, but not really considering what a headache that can be anyway. Beside that, half the time they went to guildies and I could still show them the runs and watch them get the drops. Now I'm happy to say that recently the green gods have been smiling again. In the last few day tombs has been generous to the point of Victos Axe and for old times I grabbed a Merkis Gaze and a Konnrus Fervor last night.

I probably just screwed myself by saying that. Ah whatever, it sucks but just play through it. Not like there isn't plenty of other things to do. Eventually the magic will return.

OR the din of paranoia will....

There's farming then there's overfarming... I do up to 3-4 troll runs per day, if at all - slowly saving up just for when I need a few K for armor or whatever. I find it hard to believe that people actually enjoy doing this for hours on end, there really is no point. If you wanna get mega rich go to HoH and hope for a perf crystalline, then sell it and go play the game without worrying about your wallet. ;-)

if you over farm on a char and then just switch to a new char you o not eliminate the farming code on your other char you need to go do something else besides farming preferably join in some missions help out some guildies but you cant log off for 8 hours then get back on and get 4 golds per run again.

Angry Be fair to the hardcore players pls!!

Let's be fair, put aside those people who are trying to make real money from this game. I'm speaking for the 'real players' like myself, who like the game & enjoy playing it until we start to feel that we are being controlled. Our fun is no fun anymore, cause we cannot do what we like, what we think is fun in the right way.

Overfarmed? Don't forget our 'time' are precious too. If we don't enjoy doing something will we spent so much time on a game? Is our 'time & efforts'. And if we are willing to sacrifice our precious time to farm, to play Guildwars, we deserve every bit of the goodies, we work for it.

If I work 3 jobs a day, my income is more than those that work on a single job, does our government say: "We nerfed you from working so hard?"

In this game, some likes Pvp, some PvE, some of us just like farming what's wrong with that?

We bought the game to play to have fun, to enjoy. Please don't make us feel that the game is toying us instead. I hope all the above about anti-farm thingy is not true but just speculation. I'm a collector, I love collecting all rares & awesome stuff, if I'm not allow to farm then where am I gonna get those? Visit ebay?

The drops has been bad for me recently too. I sold my Koosun's to buy my 15k armor thinking I can farm to get it back, but not a single drop for 2 wks now.

Whoever willing to work hard & make the efforts gets more. That's fair.

This problem seems to be spreading... I enjoy playing PvE and farming every now and then. But when you have to do the same run 60 times to get a drop, it just isn't cricket anymore. I'm also collecting greens for my characters and at the current rate I'll never get them.

UW drop rates has gone to the dogs, ecto is becoming rather rare again and the chests are PATHETIC to say the least. Used to get a few nice gold chests, now it is almost ALWAYS grape. I can't even remember the last time a good stormbow dropped
